October 28, 2023: Wakei Juku Reunion in Tokyo

October 28, 2023: For the first time in 40 years, I attended a reunion at "Wakei Juku (和敬塾)", a student dormitory in Tokyo. On this occasion, I also met with alumni of Kenseikan (拳誠館) Karate in Tokyo and had a great time talking about Karate with delicious food and drinks. https://tetsuyasogo2021.blogspot.com/2023/10/october-28-2023-wakei-juku-reunion-in.html?m=1

October 27, 2023: Ramen Museum, Yokohama

October 27, 2023: Visited Ramen Museum in Shin Yokohama. The inside of the museum is a detailed reproduction of the streetscape from 1958, and you can enjoy a variety of Japanese ramen in a retro atmosphere. https://tetsuyasogo2021.blogspot.com/2023/10/october-27-2023-raman-museum-yokohama.html?m=1

October 5, 2023: Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park, Osaka

October 5, 2023: Visited Tsurumi Ryokuchi Park, Osaka.  Of the five international expositions held in Japan, two were held in Osaka. The Japan World Exposition (Osaka Expo 70) was held in Suita City in 1970, and the International Garden and Greenery Expo (Flower Expo 90) was held in 1990 at Tsurumi Ryokuchi, which straddles Osaka City and Moriguchi City.  Expo 90 was the first international horticultural exhibition held in Asia. I wasn't able to go see it because I was working in the United States at that time. Now that it's October and getting cooler, so I took a walk around the site. It has now been redeveloped as a city park. This place is a gorgeous urban escape on the outskirts of Osaka, but typically less crowded than popular local parks like Osaka Castle Park and Expo 70 Commemorative Park.  https://tetsuyasogo2021.blogspot.com/2023/10/october-5-2023-tsurumi-ryokuchi-park.html?m=1
